Mike Sleeter had to fly to Italy to test for KTM after being fast in practice. Bruce Marada was fast in practice and got a great start in the main only to suffer a mechanical DNF and Greg Chalmer fell while running in the top 10. Look for Team RS to come out swinging at round 2.

Taylor Clark is a grom from Encinitas. He has been surfing since he was only 6 years old. He was influenced by his dad and brother to start surfing and he was hooked the day he first stood up on his board.
These days Taylor Clark is 11 years old and surfing beyond his years already. He is one of the few chosen surfers to represent the United States on the US team and is training every day to take his surfing to the highest level. Keep your eye on Taylor, he is sure to become one of the next top pro surfers to come out of SD.
